Bio

I am a Student Intern Counselor currently pursuing my M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Radford University. I chose the counseling field to meet people where they are and to support them as they navigate challenging seasons and their own personal healing journeys. What matters most to me is empowering others to reduce their suffering and move toward lives that feel more fulfilling, enriched, and grounded.

Compassion, genuineness, and dependability guide how I show up for clients. I believe growth and healing are fostered through safe, supportive spaces where people feel seen and heard, while also being gently challenged in empowering ways. I strive to offer a warm, respectful, and empathetic presence, and I deeply value honoring each person’s inner knowing.

My worldview has been shaped by my experiences as a caregiver, a first-generation American and college graduate, and my connection to mindfulness and yoga communities. As a student intern, I am actively learning under supervision and welcome feedback as an essential part of my growth. I approach this work with humility, curiosity, and a genuine commitment to supporting clients as they work toward their goals.

*Please Note: A Counseling Intern is a graduate-level counselor in training. Level of experience varies by Intern. All clients must be approved by Clinical Director.  All work is monitored and supervised under a fully licensed counselor. Reduced rates available.
