Bio

I am a Student Intern Counselor currently pursuing my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Radford University. I chose the counseling field because I am passionate about helping people develop a stronger, more compassionate relationship with themselves and healthier, more meaningful relationships with others. What matters most to me is supporting people as they thoughtfully process life’s challenges while staying grounded through periods of change, uncertainty, and growth.

My approach is guided by values of holistic healing, self-exploration, and an empathetic, nonjudgmental presence. I believe growth and healing are fostered through self-exploration without judgment, allowing people to gain deeper self-understanding and move toward more meaningful life experiences. I strive to create a space where clients feel supported, heard, and met with warmth, empathy, and care.

Having navigated many transitional periods throughout my own life, I bring an understanding of change and uncertainty into the counseling relationship. As a student intern, I am actively learning under supervision and welcome feedback as part of developing my counselor identity. I approach this work with intention, openness, and a genuine commitment to supporting clients as they strengthen their relationship with themselves and move toward meaningful change.

*Please Note: A Counseling Intern is a graduate-level counselor in training. Level of experience varies by Intern. All clients must be approved by Clinical Director.  All work is monitored and supervised under a fully licensed counselor. Reduced rates available.
